The Coachman was a hotel until it closed in 2015. It was built around 1880 and is a semi-detached 3 storey building which still retains some of its original features. It is situated at the entrance to Darlington Railway Station and minutes’ walk to Darlington Town Centre.
Darlington is a large market town in County Durham. It has excellent transport links by way of the A1 and the East Coast Mainline. Newcastle can be reached by train in 29 minutes and London in 2 hours 23 minutes. There are also plans to upgrade the train station to make it ready for HS2.
